Where did it all start for me? As you know I've been a
spiritual seeker and searcher for over 10 years now but it all began through
a work colleague who was, as she said, a 'Practising Buddhist'. The extent
of my knowledge of Buddhism at that time began with Richard Gere and ended
with The Dalai Lama (note which way round they are!) however
in the dim and distant recess of my school years I had opted to write a
project on Buddhism when everyone else had written theirs about far more
conventional faiths.
So maybe...there was always something in me that wanted
to know more?
My new friend taught me a Buddhist chant that I use to
this day although I have travelled a million spiritual miles since.
It was, I believe, the beginning of my enlightenment,
my path of illumination. The chant is 'Nam Myoho
Renge Kyo' and is said to be The Mystical Law Of The Universe bringing the
enlightenment of The Universe to those who say it.
Within the year I had been awarded a Certificate in
Counselling, completed my Louise Hay 'You Can Heal Your Life' Teaching
Certification, was running my own Adult Education Classes and had
met with Louise Hay in her beautiful home in San Diego overlooking the ocean
because I and a very dear friend had written a children's programme based on
Louise' teachings.
We presented the children's programme, called Hay4Kids,
at an Advanced Louise Hay Teaching Course the following year in Virginia
Beach, near to the home of the famous metaphysicist, Edgar Cayce. To date
Hay4Kids has been sent to 18 countries in The World; all over Europe, The
States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand even as far as Indian and Israel.
Although Hay4Kids has had a name change and is now under the guardianship of
another very dear friend, children's issues will always remain very dear to
my heart. I constantly ask Archangels Metatron and Michael to keep children
safe and happy. I ask that The Angels let all children know that they
are beautiful cherished Beings of Light with so much unique potential. I
yearn for all children to know and feel this.
Within my spiritual seeking, I have travelled to some
fantastic places and met some incredible people many of whom I still
keep contact with all across The World.
I have trained with Doreen Virtue in a fabulous hotel in
Laguna Beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean and again with Doreen in
mystical, magical Glastonbury.
I travelled to Scotland and to Yorkshire to be attuned in
other Angel Teachings.
Living just outside London, I have been very fortunate to
attend many lectures and workshops held by the most renowned in the Mind,
Body and Soul field.
I have read countless books and listened to many
spiritual educational CD's.
As you can see, the gems of wisdom that I heard, the
miracles I witnessed, left me wanting to know more and more. I look back and
wonder myself at the path I've taken over the past 10 years. Before that I'd
only ever been away on my own with the school! I am also passionate in
wanting to let others know what I have learnt; that there is so much more to
life; to God; to everything than we have been taught and lead to believe.
Just over a year ago in May 2006, I met with Claire
Nahmad, a very dear friend now who has even dedicated an Angel
book to me, 'Your Guardian Angel' published by Watkins.
My channelled message 'I AM Zadkiel' is featured
in Claire's latest book 'Angels of Healing' again published by Watkins
I'm telling you all of this for no other reason than for you to
see what you too can do and achieve if you follow your heart and never ever
let go of your hopes and dreams.
Your Angels are always close by to raise you up on their
beautiful magnificent white wings, you know.
I have been blessed in many, many ways but none more so
than with my own beloved soul mates; my husband Toby and our beautiful Being
Of Light, Keiley.
I am deeply grateful that Toby gave me my Wings and is
always there when they sometimes drop around by my feet! 'Your inner child
Light is never far away, is it?'
And Keiley, 'What can I say? I am in absolute awe of the
woman you have grown into. I stand in the shadow of your Light, my own
precious child.'
I am also blessed with a wonderful family and friends who
colour my world.
